if you’re ordering a keyboard kit with all of the components already included, even ones you’ve grabbed in a group buy, i’m happy to build it!
here are the base prices for keyboard kit builds:
☞ boards under 40%: $35
☞ boards 40 - 65%: $50
☞ boards 65% - tkl: $60
☞ boards tkl - full: $70
☞ split ergo boards are +$10
pcb printing & assembly
this option is for folks who’ve found the keyboard they really, really want—but it only exists on github. i can print pcbs, plates, and cases (as long as the files already exist) for ya.
prices will be discussed upon receipt of the project request. when requesting a custom build, please keep in mind:
☞ what kind of switchplate and case you want
☞ what mcu you want, as this impacts the type of cable you’ll need
☞ what kind of switches you’d like
☞ whether you’ll want extras, like leds, rotary encoders, or oleds
desoldering
i can desolder switches (using my precious, precious hakko fr-301—best purchase of my life) and swap new ones back in.
however, by definition, i’ll be working with a pre-soldered pcb. if i’m sent a keyboard with any damage, i cannot be held responsible for any further issues with the board.
please note that i do not desolder or replace other components. i will only desolder and replace switches.
